Here in New England we traditionally have three balls although in times of (snow) scarcity, or when it's too darn cold for the kids to stay out that long, we have seen two. But yes, I had decided it was a short snow man :)
Yes...the "Three Ball Snowman" version is Rev 2 to this design :)
I need the whole back of hand, though (or a smaller knitting gauge...ugh!) so 3-ball snowman would melt down into the 2-color mitten stripe area.
Also have Cable Owl pattern in the final pattern version, but have been made aware that Owl is not appropriate for charity gifts in some cultures.
